44th Anniversary Tea

We had 31 people to our 44th Anniversary tea provided by the ladies of the Fellowship, everyone enjoyed a fine spread!

This was followed by a brief photo review of the activities and considerable work that had been done to the building in the last year.

Finally our guest speaker Chris Over, gave a talk on Lighthouses, particularly the Eddystone history and reminded us that Jesus is the ‘Light of the world’ and we should shine out his light to those living around us.

American visitors at Western Way Chapel

Western Way Chapel, Dymock were pleased to welcome Wes, Suzanne, Gene and Sandy from Hope Church, Lenox, Massachusetts on Sunday 27th August 2017.

It was a fifth visit for Wes and Suzanne to Western Way Chapel and this time they bought 2 friends with them, Gene and Sandy.

Wes gave a testimony explaining he had been diagnosed with multiple myeloma and that through the power of prayer he had been able to carry on his musical ministry with little or no side effects from drug therapy.

In a 3 week visit to the UK, they were visiting towns and churches of some well known hymn writers including Horsham where Edward Mote wrote 'My Hope is Built on Nothing Less', further visits to Birmingham and then St Andrews in Scotland (Gene is a golf fan!) are planned before returning to London and then flying back home to Lenox, Massachusetts.
